MERCADOR AWARDS HISTORY
Launched in 1999 by the Quebec Ministry of Finance and Economy, the MercdOr Awards Ceremony acknowledged the success of companies starting out in exports markets. As time went by, several Regional Export Promotion Organizations (ORPEX) have adopted the concept by making the MercadOr Awards Ceremony a must in Quebec to showcase the successful achievements of businesses outside Quebec and internationally. Over the years, new price categories have been developed and awarded to companies that have gone through different stages in the internationalization of their business.
